Natural building event in Conesus
Hi all,
There seems to be enough interest in a natural building event that we will be hosting another work party to finish plaster our straw bale house exterior in Conesus, applying the lime coat and also to fresco paint the house. We will have tarps up, so it is a rain or shine event.
Come and have fun, learn hands on about natural building (I'm not bad on the lecture circuit, but nothin' beats the real deal!), chat about the latest in green living or whatever you please, enjoy good food and good people.
• Date: Saturday August 9, 2008
• Time: 8 AM until 4 PM (Come anytime-latecomers are welcome as the early birds will need a break)
• We will break for Lunch (provided)-any food allergies please advise
what to bring :
• Dress as you would for painting a room, and you may wish to bring a clean change of clothes to return home in. \
• Conesus Lake is close by, so bring a swimsuit for a dip if so inclined.
• work gloves and a concrete trowel if you have one (we will have limited quantities of both)
