This comment is a bit dated, but i'll post anyway!

Did many people in Rochester end up participating in Earth Hour? I actually had an Earth Hour party. We turned out the lights/electronics and hung out with some munchies from the farmer's market and some organic brews. It ended up being a big hit! I was happy that my friends were so eager to participate. I wasn't sure how many others were participating in Rochester. What a wonderful opportunity to get everyone together. If everyone gathers at one location, this means the lights are off at their homes also. It would be really awesome if Rochester, as a whole, participates in 2010. I have been trying to think about ways to spread the word, but I don't have THAT much power in the community!
