Profile Information

About Me:
I have been selling online since 1995. From consignment items to classified marketing.

In 2006 I started selling plastic barrels and drums. With more people being environmentally responsible, I had found my nich. I am selling to people who are using these barrels for rain water recovery, biodiesel storage and other uses around the house or in business. The success of this venture has turned this into a full time job.
My sustainable city would have:
Rainbarrels catch rain water and biodiesel storage at every house.

Hi Chris,

I am glad to be apart of this new group and hope to increase my knowledge and exposure of green building, perhaps finding a way to build that network of bike paths. Thanks for writing! - Ben

That is great. I would say 90% of what we do is green. All our marketing is online and targeted to your local market place. We do not get into paper flyers or door hangers banners etc. but if needed we can do it for our clients. My main focus was to make online marketing affordable for small businesses, including those working out of their homes as well as some of my larger clients. If in the future you need any thing please do not hesitate to call us.

Chris,
Yes, I am the first Green Irene in the area. HQ puts the website together for us and does major advertising through Google, etc. Google something "green" and you will probably see an ad for Green Irene in the side bar. From there, people can look for their local consultant - Me!

Chris,

I love the site and what you are doing. I am also going to be doing some videos this year, if we can find a common platform to combine all our videos that would be incredible....or put all our videos in/on multiple sites for increased visibility; we can a make a sort of master file that each of our networked orgs/businesses can copy and paste. Let me know your thoughts....mine focus is more on building truly green homes; cordwood to be exact. Cordwood construction is a possibly mortgage-free method of construction that is easy to build, energy efficient and has been around for centuries. We are almost complete with our new site and will be advetising for a number of local green businesses or work to barter with other comapnies like yourself to cross promote on each of our sites. Again, let me know your thoughts as I have laid a ton on you for my first email, lol. Feel free to call me 585 200 0526 anytime and maybe we could talk over a beer sometime.

Kind Regards,
Peter
