Here is a great article someone sent to me about the carbon footprint reduction by utilizing discarded wood chips for energy. Schools and towns across the US are understanding the significant cost savings this form of sustainable energy can provide.
Initially I did not like the sound of crushing up trees to burn for fuel but after reading the wood chips come from the waste of other wood mills and the significant cost and environmental savings I was intrigued to learn more about what other schools, cities, or homes around the country are doing.
